FIRE IN N.W.  HOME REVEALS MARIJUANA STASH

Calgary firefighters stumbled upon a marijuana grow operation when they arrived at 207 Arbour Butte Rd.  N.W.  to put out a fire Saturday.

The fire was in the basement and quickly extinguished.  It was believed to have been caused by a faulty electrical system used in the grow operation.

As many as 300 marijuana plants were found in the residence, although no one was home at the time.
